        An 8 inch tree is equivalent to a 15 ft tree on a G Scale layout.

        Tree Installation:
        These trees come with a base, however, if a permanent installation is desired, mark the tree locations with a pencil and drill holes using a drill bit close to the size of the trunk of the tree you're "planting". Then, remove the base and press the tree into place. Use hot glue for additional stability.
