        Replicate real train action on your LGB MTS layout with this versatile device. Here are examples: A locomotive approaches a “Stop” signal. After the loco passes a track contact, it will slow with at a preset rate and stop in front of the signal. However, if the signal says “Go,” the loco will continue without stopping. Prototypical sections with reduced speed can be modeled as well. The loco will slow to a preset speed, traverse the section at that speed, then accelerate. You also can have a train stop at a station and leave after a preset time. These and other functions are possible with the MTS Braking Module.
        An MTS Power Extender (55090) with modified software is required to use these braking modules. 55090s produced in 2004 have the modified software. The modification procedure for earlier 55090s is detailed on a coupon included with the module. Please note that a 55090 can be used with braking modules or to power an additional track section but not both at the same time.
