Driving current amplifier
With this adddtion (without controller), it is possible to increase the driving power of a configuration incorporating 2 transformers 5006 and 1 driving current amplifier 5009. Depending on the output of the first transformer in the circuit, the total output in the driving circuit may be increased by 2 amps using just one controller. The advantage of the 5009 becomes clear when operating layouts with large locomotives and numerous carriages with interior lighting.
