The Handelskette co-operative maintains supermarkets and department stores throughout Switzerland. For transporting food items, the co-operative uses its own refrigerated “cooltainers,” which it also uses for various advertising campaigns. The Rhätische Bahn transports these containers in the canton of Graubünden, and this LGB model is an authentic model of a co-op cooltainer on an RhB wagon. It's the start of a series of co-op container cars.
