Many narrow gauge and secondary routes employ “Fakultativwagen” or “combine” cars, which can be used to carry either passengers or freight as required. This versatile model is a replica of a restored combine used on the DEV in Bruchhausen-Vilsen but would be a useful addition to any layout. It includes opening end doors, opening side doors and removable furnishings to make it easy to convert the car for freight or passenger use.
