The diesel locomotive is painted and lettered for the train. The paint scheme and lettering are for Era VI. Both trucks are driven by two powerful Bühler ball bearing motors. The locomotive has a built-in mfx/DCC decoder with many light and sound functions.
The running sounds will also work in analog operation.

The water can be sprayed with a digitally controlled pump. This function is only possible in digital operation.
