        The real F7-B is essentially an F7-A without a cab or controls. The "B-unit" was designed to be coupled to an "A-unit" where a single engineer could operate both locos.
        The LGB F7-B is equipped with LGB's acclaimed digital sound system. Sound effects include "notch" synchronized diesel motor, bell, horn and brakes. Additional sounds are accessible using the LGB Multi-Train System. This unpowered model is made for use only with LGB F7-A models.
