Equipped with digital sound electronics, you´ll hear the exhaust chuffs, the bell, the whistle, the air pump and more mechanical sounds. With the Multi-Train System, you can control the sounds independently. A magnetic track contact (17050) is included to activate the bell and whistle sounds. The Prototype The Mogul locomotive is an American classic. During the late 1800s and early 1900s, more than 10,000 of these versatile locos were built for freight and passenger service throughout North America. The term "Mogul" refers to the "2-6-0" wheel configuration of these locos: two small guide wheels followed by six big driving wheels and no trailing wheels.
