Nice engine.. In 2003, the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO) merged with the Brig-Visp-Zermatt-Bahn (BVZ) to form the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn (MGB). Apart from the famous electric locos of this popular line, the MGB also employs a number of smaller locomotives. Two-axle diesel locos, called “tractors” in Switzerland, are used for switching duties and work trains. The LGB model is a replica of a two-axle Tm 2/2 in the current livery of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn. Use this model to switch cars or pull short freight trains on your LGB layout. The loco is ready for analog operation and is also equipped with a “DCC Interface” for easy installation of an MTS Decoder III (LGB 55027). This is an eXtra product.
