LGB 20570 Santa Fe F7-A, Collection Item

In the late-1940´s, General Motor´s Electro Motive Division (EMD) introduced this classic diesel-electric locomotive. With its handsome "Bulldog" nose and 1,500 horsepower, the F7 "A-unit" was an instant hit with rail fans and railroads alike. In total, more than 2,300 were built for railroads across America. The most famous F7s belonged to the Santa Fe and wore the railroad´s striking "Warbonnet" livery. You can add that bold design to your layout with this big LGB model. Two Bühler-powered trucks provide remarkable pulling power. Add an F7 "B-unit" (20582) for authentic digital sound.

If pairing with 20582 for sound, this unit must be paird with the "older style" B unit that has the 2 and 4 pin connection cables that bring power to B unit
